It's a series I always wanted to like but the few times I rented or tried it, it just seemed too slow and clunky. And like that webm shows, seems like the games don't have great environments which is a huge part of making a mech game good.
I thought the newest one looked pretty shitty too. Should've done more of what some of the better Gundam games and Zone of the Enders did.

The latest one IS basically Zone of the Enders.
