Did LeFay hate Todd? Where the fuck did you hear that from? All I've heard him say is he left because their visions differed. Todd has always had huge respect for LeFay, and Bethesda games got more procedural generation elements by each title since Oblivion. Ken Rolston said in a livestream Todd's different approach was driven by market demands, and he was proven right.
