Redfaction's Geophysics thing was fine too but underused.
STALKER's buggy ass engine was revolutionary in creating a "living world" in 3Ds. also underused and underrated.
Crysis 1 engine was kino. but the games themselves were mid imo.
Prerendered 3D graphix was the best artistically speaking imo.
