>>11907295If you always have the sword and shield equipped, switch in an item, use it once, and go back to sword and shield then you're playing the game wrong.
First off, just give up the shield unless it's needed for a specific obstacle (rare). Now you have the sword and one other item always equipped, it should be whatever item you're most likely to use at any particular time. If you're in an area with lots of rocks or pots to lift, just always have sword+bracelet on that entire time, for example.
Second, don't be afraid to unequip the sword and leave it unequipped for a while. If either or both of your equipped non-sword items can kill or incapacitate the enemies you're dealing with, then you just don't need to re-equip the sword. Now you have TWO utility items always available.
Third, get creative and stop leaning so rigidly on certain items to do certain things. This will reduce how often you need to swap items. Let's say I'm in a room with some enemies and have the feather and bracelet equipped because I'm using those two items a lot lately. If there are pots in the room, I'll just use those to kill the enemies without ever having to swap out my items.
I find that 9 times out of 10, when people complain about constantly swapping items it's because they're doing dumb shit like re-equipping the sword and shield after every use of another item. This is a Zelda game where you can remove the sword and shield! Embrace it! Have fun with it! It's the best part of the game!
