Oh sweet, what's the track name? I'm seeing there's a whole site for custom CTR tracks. Are custom tracks playable online?

I want some oddball shit. Like porting the Silent Hill maps and making a course out of that.

I'm glad this is happening because ctr nails a gamefeel that no other game replicates, not mario kart, not the latter ctrs, og ctr is what I've come to expect other cartoon racing games to play like but they just don't, something about the physics, the responsive of the buttons

I can see a PlayStation classics theme using levels from PS1 games:

>Spyro
>Silent Hill
>medieval

Is there a way to backport some of the improvements and bugfixes from the PAL version back into the original NTSC version?

I am salivating for a native PC port of CTR. Having the modding scene not being tied to specs of PS1 hardware or its slightly expanded abstraction in emulators will be glorious.

yes, they're doing a source port decomp and bug fixing is just going to be part of it.

No, no port. You'll hear about it when it's done. Silent Hill and SoTN also have source decomp projects too.

Better patch it to 60 fps while you're at it. And don't half-ass it either, make the new tracks support CPU racers too
