3 has some cool little story things and a huge amount of secrets and stuff to unlock. Challenging bosses on higher difficulty. Big issue is it was incomplete. You can tell they wanted to make it bigger and dial combat in more for the huge moveset, and as a result you get things like Monsters Inc world spamming cutscenes every ten steps.

This game is what many people who mocked Wind Waker for being kiddy were playing back then. Let that sink.

It's a little too clunky and slow to be considered GOAT, KH2's combat was a big improvement.
Though i'll admit the clunky combat in KH1 makes it more challenging (in a good way), where as KH2 is piss easy.

This game was made for the children who grew up playing FF and watching Disney movies, it does a pretty good job at appealing to that demographic although I will freely admit that the Final Fantasy inclusions were kinda shit and could have been done much better. It would have been cool to have gotten a midgar world or something idk there was definitely room for improvement.
