You DID fill out your game registration cards right?

I might have done one or two but I didn't see the point of it really.

it was for the dev/publisher internal analytics. so they could get a better idea of the sort of person who plays their games, and what they'd like to see in future games. You had to register your individual copy so that people wouldn't print up thousands of fake cards and send in bullshit responses.

I've done it once or twice, not this one though.

I was maybe 10 or 11 years old and I remember saying that one of the most important thing for me choosing a game was the screenshots on the back of the box because I didn't read many magazines then. Then, games started having false advertising on the back of the box with screenshots that embellish what the game really is like.

It was all my fault.

Nothing funny about using Sony's official acronym

>swastika
im just going to use that symbol to refer to the playstation one from now on
Anonymous No.11976197 [Report] >>11976312
>>11976140
The swastika (卐) specifically represents "PS", and the first chingchong symbol after it (堭) represents "-X". That's what you get when you try to read "PS-X" written in plain ASCII as if it were little endian UTF-16. Short explanation is they're two different ways to represent text, where ASCII uses one byte per character, and UTF-16 uses two bytes per character. So trying to read ASCII text as UTF-16 can lead to wacky garbage like that.

You have it backwards. It's typically zoomers seething at millennials and Gen Xers for saying PSX
Anonymous No.11976410 [Report]
>>11976314
I was jesting. Usually xillennials get unreasonably mad about the PSX thing and start accusing everyone of using it of being zoomers. Insecurity and projection.

Cut him some slack. He put Playboy down in the Other slot of magazines. He's a man of culture. Because Playboy unironically is about the articles.

I've always wondered what would happen of you sent in one of these like 25 years after the fact

it would show up to a dead address or PO box

At best the current residents of that address would remember who was there before and send you back a funny response

pic related is the current view of the old interplay studio
