I didn't play that until recently. Gave up around the part where you have to kill the mafia boss because his girlfriend told him you slept with her apparently purely for the lulz. That game is ABSURDLY difficult, but it still doesn't have anything on the Driver tutorial.

this game blows. The tutorial isn't hard, the detection on 360s is just busted. The game is buggy as hell and the missions are just plain tedious.

Anyone who played enough of the missions to know any of that is a faggot. If all you did was take turns with your friends seeing how much damage you could do before the cops killed you, it was pretty great.

To me a very fun thing was trying to get to a far
place of the map without breaking any rules, just normal driving.
Which because of the erratic movement of traffic and the all-or-nothing triggering of the cop AI is not as easy as it sounds. Because they only know the response of trying to crash into you one bump into another car or slightly going over the line breaking at a stoplight while in the radius of a cop car has the same effect as murdering someone.
Especially funny was always being somewhere in the car conga line at a stoplight, with a cop car in the other intersection and then doing a wheelie and watch the carnage unfold as the cop car starts crashing into countless other cars causing untold destruction and injuring and killing countless civilians trying to get to you. Usually they already run out of steam before reaching you. Fun.

I played it to completion and didn't fool around because it was a weekend rental and needed to beat it. It surprised me to learn that people had trouble with the tutorial, if 14 yo me could figure it out...

The only bullshit part was the final mission.

Retrying a lot of times until luck went my way. I remember it because I was playing with a friend and it was one of the few times my mother actually paid attention to us playing vidya, cheering for us to make it.
