Give me your favorite autumnal gaming experiences
Let's have a nice discussion about gaming in the fall it seems to hit people hardest about this time, until spring. What makes this season so special for you when it comes to games?
Hexen, easy choice.
>What makes this season so special
It's comfortable. Spring and summer give you the pressure to be out and about doing shit, taking advantage of the nice weather. Autumn you can just do nothing guilt free, and it's not harsh and unpleasant like winter.

Yeah I really enjoy coming home from a walk at dusk and playing some games after starting a fire. Great vibe

Autumn is the best time to be out doing things. Summer is hazardous.
absolutely nothing, you are gay as hell
next month it'll be >BRO why is GAMING during winter so kino comfy ludo? it's not. they're video games, they can be enjoyed in the comfort of your air-conditioned room regardless of the season. crepuscular sentiments are tied with nostalgia and that might explain the faghomo comfyludo feelings you are experiencing

Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines makes me warm in fuzzy during the fall time. It doesn't have the same effect with the other seasons. Something about it

Games like Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti hit the mood just right. Subtle spookiness in 8-bit is the best. And when the weather is bad, there's no guilt for wasting a good day inside.
