>>3775454 (OP)>SaGa 1very freeform dnd style adventure. humans, espers and monsters band together to climb an endless tower. Pretty easy.
>SaGa 2same as 1 but robots and deeper plot. find your dad, save the universe. Moderately easy but kinda gets bullshit tier near end.
>SaGa 3babby's first RPG on the gameboy. Stop Cthulhu from flooding the world. Easy peasy. lacks a lot of the common series elements though.
>RS:Minstrel Songfell an evil god that got out of control. game mechanics are tight. Sky high customization. Difficult game.
>RS2:Revenge of the Sevenspend hundreds to thousands of in game years killing bad former heroes. multigenerational system, lots of party customization, like literally hundreds of different MCs/supporting teammates to pick from. Difficulty is adjustable.
>RS3scheduled world eclipse happens, do we get angle or devil this time? Pretty challenging but very free form like the other RS games. Not too hard. a bit dated but fairly easy to get into.
>Frontier 190s era cyberpunk. swords, guns, robots, magic, monsters. 8 different main characters with vastly different story objectives. Moderate difficulty. One of my top recommendations to start.
>Frontier 2local disabled man becomes king of the world and a war god. different in the fact that this game is very, very story based to the point where gameplay almost takes a backseat at times. lots of cool political intrigue. recommend if you like stories from Matsuno games.
>Unlimited Saga"What if we made a tabletop game from SaGa?" Very challenging and unintuitive game but very fun to master. Some of the best music is from this game.
>Scarlet Grace"What if we made a BOARD game from SaGa?" A bit more simplistic than USaga. All battles, no dungeons, and the story (much like usaga) is pieced together from the povs of different mcs. arguably one of the best battle systems for any rpg.
>Emerald Beyond"What if we remade Scarlet Grace, but with the setting of SaGa 2?"
