Yep, it's one of those "RPG-Maker" games that was made with the same engine but without the RPG gameplay at all. Mostly made for youtubers to play

2010 was a long time ago. LPs were still new and not popular. Livestreaming barely existed. Small games did not get media attention unless they were part of the games as art crowd. People made games to play them.
