>awful games that you enjoy
I'll start with Two Worlds. The voice acting is hilarious with fake accents and duels of two actors trying to do a similar voice. The main quest can be completed in a couple of minutes, because the big bad dude is right there after the starter dungeon. Sadly not all the jank is funny, trying to launch this in Proton spits out a show of bright colors dashing through the sky. There's also a sequel but it never nailed this poor man's Oblivion quite right as the first one did.

I remember magic being complicated while I walked around and beat the shit out of people with a big stick for the same result.

I liked ff13 enough to replay it a few times over the years. Mostly for Vanille, but I do enjoy the combat on the surface.

>Shroud of the Avatar
its janky, its unfinished, the place is empty but its as close to an Ultima release as we'll ever get, so I persevered and got enjoyment from it.

Silverfall. It's simultaneously a bad game, and a surprisingly high effort and enjoyable one, for a Diablo clone.
>steampunk setting with a cartoonish artstyle that aged pretty well
>a solid choice of playable races
>tech vs nature "morality" system that changes the look of the main city, and with their own quests and skill trees
>a decent number of party members, they even implemented very basic romances with a few of them
Of course, not a single element was done by competent developers, but the gameplay loop worked well enough to keep me playing with a few different builds.

I'll pass by the more well-known games with awful gameplay that still have cult followings and say...
Lionheart. It basically shits itself and devolves into an incredibly shoddy and poorly designed hack-and-slash which renders half the skills useless, but man, something about it really hit right and stuck with me. It might just be when I played it, but it's not JUST nostalgia, as I've replayed it quite recently and still had fun... until I didn't.

Most people agreed that Barcelona was pretty good and the concept was intriguing. It was just a dumb idea to hire a developer who hadn't made a CRPG before.
