I hate these kinds of translations so much. Dragon Quest is the worst offender. It’s such trash. In FF tactics and FF12 they tone it down, so it’s got some flavor and they sound cool, but you’re not straight up reading japanese stories shitily translated into 1500s plays. Even if you put on the dub the newer DQ games you still get the shakespeare text.
