I really like Lani from FF9, because she is a truely strong and independent woman - a mulatto colored woman bounty hunter with fashionable wearing and an oversized axe as a weapon, a non-nonsense business attitude, an irate character and this physique (which is a more realistic version of her SD in-game body), how not to like her?

I wanted her as last playable character and not the Laming Amarant.

She and Beatrix would have been perfect foips to each other, both bound by duty, one for the kingdom, the other for herself.

A game remake needs to expand the characters and their involvement and relevance, not just add some polished varnish.
