I enjoyed the novelization of Planescape: Torment. The one with the in-game dialogue mostly copy-pasted; not that weird prose version.

Never happened with video games. Games seem like a poor vehicle for delivering that.

There have been rare cases where some bit has touched me or made me reflect, but nothing too profound.

TLP reminds me a little of the devil chronicles? the tower chronicles? You know, that one grindy as shit "rpg maker" game that had something to do with memories and stories and it was very surreal
