Just know that even with the patch that gets it running, the game is still incredibly buggy and there's some sort of memory leak in it that happens when you play for like 5 hours or more at a time. Objects in the game start turning into other things and it screws with the controls and missions. You'll have to reload the fix it which aint too bad, but it does get annoying despite sometimes resulting in funny things. (My game turned doors and computers into Chinese guys folded up like origami)

That's entirely fair. Despite her exterior appearance, Yukie is fairly grounded as a character. Family killed by monsters, raised by a hunter who saved her, then he is killed by a monster, and she wants to avenge him.

Heck it's nice seeing her as a contrast to Bach, showing us a hunter that can see shades of gray in the supernatural rather than viewing them all as servants of evil that must die.

Bach is definitely a loon, however let's not downplay the problems of needing to feed on blood. The kiss is intensely pleasurable, and outside of the blood dolls you can get in bars, the victim hardly has a say in the matter. So a standard feeding is somewhere between assault and rape, with the benefit of the victim's memory being very hazy afterwards. Having to do that once every couple of nights at bare minimum is pretty messed up. But, it's also necessary to the survival of the vampire, and few vampires choose to be embraced in the first place. So the whole thing is an ethical quagmire.

There's a security guard/cop in the hospital upstairs that I never figured out how to get past. It's like he has unique broken ai that will always spot me.
