fair label, a very soulless game.

I believe it. Level-5 games always have a vibe of "we are trying to make this The Next Big Thing" so if you play one and don't like it, it really stings.

Looking at it and I cannot see blondie abd brownie as Tidus and Yuna clones.

Now that I see it, thats what Lloyd and Collete are.

It is just Dark Cloud. THose two games were so grind heavy even if you liked the premise it would be hard for most to want to get into it.

Xenoblade used Final Fantasy 12 as the framework for its game, not X. Xenoblade is nothing like X.

Games that where inspired by FFX where rpgs like shadows hearts covenant and tales of graces..

DC2 was not even remotely grind heavy, unless you were doing the post game dungeon

>sci-fi pirate rpg
>starts and it's clearly Star Wars
>immediately you go to a forest and stay there forever while no story happens

It's super fucking boring.

And then you go to a boring city where you get thrown in a shitty jail because of an annoying idol, run around in a cave with a dogman, then back to the city in a shitty building with a blue tech tard.

It just doesn't have fun places to explore and the level design is bad. The combat being pretty repetitive with utterly braindead AI so companions get killed constantly and have to be healed up gets old fast.

He never said or wrote that.
He DID say something very similar about satire, though.
