What did you buy during the Steam Summer Sale this year?
I have to go look at what's on sale, not sure yet.
>>3791660Sparking Zero is finally on a decent enough sale and it never goes on sale. I was going to wait for 50% off or more for it (I do with most games) but I think I'll make an exception here.
>>3791658 (OP)ive been hoping for dragon quest heroes to go on sale for years now and it literally never has. idk what square's fucking problem is
>>3791658 (OP)Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Cyberpunk + DLC are both at all time lows, which is really tempting me. I've already played Cyberpunk at launch, so I'm leaning towards IW.
I'm for sure buying 2 games but they're not rpgs so I won't say you'll have to guess
>>3791681Its probably koei. Square puts its games on sale all the time, but Koei is real fucking stingy with the discounts.
Disco Elysium
Xcom 2
Kings bounty pack
Ff 13 - (i played i back when it first came out on Xbox thought theres been enough time maybe ill come around to it even tjo i doubt it)
Furi
Really fuck all to buy this sale was almost thinking of pickjng up bloons 6 for the sake of it lol
>>3791682Could be anything, too many to guess, give a hint anon.
>>3791687Bloons is great. If you go for black borders (CHIMPS mode) it's really fucking hard. Kingdom Rush is the better TD game though.
>>3791709The two games I picked, discounted the most,
You will find on /v/, lest they archive the post
How gay is Casette Beasts? Traps kissing gay or
>>3791667I know the hardcore budokai crowd say it's not as good as 3, but sparking zero is still pretty fun. I hope the next xenoverse game has combat on par with zero.
>>3791682>SpoilerSaeko Giantess Dating Sim and Rimworld, huh?
How gay is Casette Beasts? Traps kissing gay or "you should die if you won't have sex with transexuals" gay? Don't write when half-asleep.
>>3791667I know the hardcore budokai crowd say it's not as good as 3, but sparking zero is still pretty fun. I hope the next xenoverse game has combat on par with zero.
>>3791682>SpoilerSaeko Giantess Dating Sim and Rimworld, huh?
>>3791732I dropped Cassette Beasts after I heard the battle music and saw the vapid writing.
Is Solasta any good? The game + dlc are quite cheap.
>>3791658 (OP)Nothing. I pirate everything.
>>3791750Yep, cringe writing, and gibberish music is what made me drop it as well
Also despite loving objectmons (it is full of it) I hate how uninspired lots of the designs are a.k.a. soulless
Uninteresting platformer mechanics too.
I like some of the battle mechanics but presentation-wise it fails alot for me. Doesn't help that the story is pretty much incoherent.
>>3791732I'd recommend Beastieball over Cassette Beasts
>>3791833It's the most faithful adaptation of D&D 5e combat there is, so if you love 5e you might want to check it out, but everything else about it is garbage.
>>3791658 (OP)Everything that got a good discount is tuff I don't want or already own. Nothing I actually want to buy gets a good discount so I'm not buying anything.
>>3791732>How gay is Casette Beasts? If you want a Pokemon style game, Monster Hunter Stories 2 is infinitely better.
>>3791860That looked good.
Can't go wrong with Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince if you want a mon game. Or the classic Monster Rancher 1&2 DX pack.
>>3791984Is that turn-based?
>>3791991Turn based combat, both you and your monster fight together.
Large open areas to explore.
You ride your monsters to explore the world or do stuff.
Customizable protag.
Story to follow, with temporary companions joining you from time to time.
>>3792000Sounds like it does a lot of things right. I realized I wishlisted it awhile ago. So many sales not sure what else to get but maybe this one will be worth it.
>>3791687>Ff 13 - (i played i back when it first came out on Xbox thought theres been enough time maybe ill come around to it even tjo i doubt it)oh man
ohhhhhhh man, lel.
>>3792040I know i know i am aiming to play all ff in order so i am gonna have to do it one way or the other
>>3791658 (OP)I'm not buying shit until I see what's in Humble Choice for July.
>>3791984>Monster Hunter StoriesI have a feeling both of the games are criminally overlooked despite having Monster Hunter in the name.
>>3791710Yeah i really hand the urge to play TD i started kingdom rush on mobile its pretty good so far unfortunately its not on sale on steam so i might just cough up the $2 for bloons
Is Digimon Survive worth it? Iโve heard the turn based battling is braindead but how are the VN sections? Engaging? Well written? Shit?
>>3792187Cyber Sleuth is better, if you haven't played that.
I could get Phantom Brave, and Trails in the Sky and that would probably be it.
Really need a game to reignite that spark for turn based combat or just a good RPG in general. I'm thinking of octopath 2, baten kaitos collection or maybe SMT 5. Leaning towards baten kaitos, I always heard good things about it way back in the day but never got it. Ideally, one that'd play well on the steam deck, too.
>>3792236Baten Kaitos are very different and you would do well to look it up a bit beforehand, because it's not for everyone.
SMTV Vengeance is very solid.
>>3792236Octopath 2 is pretty, make sure you turn off the post-processing in the config.ini
>>3791732Unlike every other anon here I quite liked Casette Beasts. Would still recommend grabbing it.
>>3791658 (OP)https://store.steampowered.com/app/2745660/Monsters_of_Mican/
Well worth the price if you can put up with intentionally stupid looking things and sound effects that are litterally some guy making noise like a little kid playing pretend.

>>3791658 (OP)i wanted to purchase the FF pixel remasters bundle
but also one of u niggas put this in my wishlist? is it good?
I picked up the Casual RPG game, Dave the Diver. I asked Fucking Grok and he confirmed YES it is an RPG you MotherFuckers!
>Yes, Dave the Diver is considered an RPG, though it blends multiple genres. Itโs often described as a casual, single-player adventure RPG with elements of deep-sea exploration, fishing, and sushi restaurant management. The game includes RPG mechanics like character progression, side quests, and an overarching story, but itโs not a traditional RPG, as it also incorporates action-adventure and management sim elements.
>>3792342>I sucked a faggots cock to completion and swallowed it all and he confirmed YES I am totally straight.
Are there any good indie RPGs on sale? Especially looking for interesting combat systems and minimal story
>>3792326are you stalking me dude i just copped that, i played all of them in the 90s when they were new except the savage frontier ones. it's good, but it's really old, like when u play there will be parts that go "after a night of drinking, you wake up at the inn to find the place ransacked, read journal entry 5 in the manual for the details" which was kinda kino in the 90s when u had the printed book, but now they give u a pdf, so if u have two monitors just put the journal book on that one. still it feels fucking ancient, will def take a minute to get used to it.
whoever recommended siege of avalon anthology on here before that shit is fire hell ya how did i not play this before ok i didn't make it out of the first town yet but just walking around it's like peak old rpg not too crusty but not new either i was like helll ya
i think i'm gonna get outcast 1.1 it's $1.97 i played it back in the 90s when it first came out and got filtered like i don't think i even got a quest i just walked around like what tf is going on but now i think i get it
Never played Suikoden before, are the remasters good? On sale for 40 bucks right now.
>>3792380Because the bloom and dof are complete fucking cancer.
>>3792342>an overarching story
How's Live a Live? 19 bucks for it seems bit much but I've heard that the game itself is really good.
>>3792872It was a really cool novelty to play on the zsnes 20 years ago and one of my favourite soundtracks ever but not sure how the remaster holds up.
>>3792391Suikoden I & II are great, but the remasters aren't worth 40 bucks. Just emulate them for free, there's a fan patch to fix SII's stupid amount of bugs
>>3792872Live A Live is basically a collection of different short RPGs that share some gameplay elements (mainly combat).
The main appeal is to experience snippets of different ideas and settings.
One is horror, another is basically a japanese super robot tribute, another is about defending a town from a gang, etc.
Most of them are more conceptually interesting than good. So it's a bit more of a novelty.
There's a demo you can try to get a feel for it.
>>3792878>Suikoden I & II are great, but the remasters aren't worth 40 bucks. Just emulate them for freeThe remasters are the definitive way to play. You just pick them up on a sale if you're cheap. Or pirate.
>>3792882I wish they tied the stories together, made an end-game where you all teamed up for a super boss or final dungeon, or at least fleshed them all out to be 10 hours long. That would be nice. It's still fun if it's on sale but you start to get invested and into the characters and gameplay of one then it just ends.
Music was great for boss battles though.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmh4Qs20DZA
I bought a bunch of tiny indie games that were cheap to start. A rougelike of Snake called Snakecremental (the old phone game where you eat stuff and grow a long snake), this game called Tower Wizard, Dome Keeper, Wall World, and uh... Among Us, as well as Robocop.
Gonna get more because I'm addicted to good Steam sales.
>>3792106I did that years ago and got bogged down halfway through 10.
>>3792764You do realise most people aren't severely near sighted with cateracts, right?
>>3791984Does MHS2 have like, grinding, exploring, hunting for specific monster breeds/'shinies' like Pokemon?
I alaywas assumed it was kind of a linear 'play through this straight line for 12 hours' type thing
>>3792896>I wish they tied the stories together, made an end-game where you all teamed up for a super boss or final dungeon, or at least fleshed them all out to be 10 hours long. That would be nice. It's still fun if it's on sale but you start to get invested and into the characters and gameplay of one then it just ends.Anon, I...
>>3792900don't fall in the trap of ballooning your backlog. it's also generally a good idea to wait for the last day because you might find a better deal elsewhere. I mean, if you're not shopping for cd keys because then you're GUARANTEED to find a better deal.
>>3793046The story is linear, but you can go and explore the open areas as much as you want.
Grinding isn't really necessary to beat the story, but there are things to grind for, optional harder stuff to do ands so on.
Monsters have rarity, genes and such and you can transfer genes from other monsters and such if you want to minmax.
>>3791658 (OP)What are some "essential" DRPGs/blobbers/first-person-party-based-dungeon-crawlers to pick up on this sale? I've already played Etriams and got bored of Labyrinth of Refrain.
Currently eyeing the different Wizardry games, Elminage Original, Class of Heroes 1-2-3, Stranger of Sword City.
I want a "true" DRPG experience, but at the same time something ball-bustingly hard due to being full of bullshit and borderline requiring guides like Wizardry 1 just doesn't really seem fun anymore.
>>3793060Legend of Grimrock 1 & 2
2 pack is only $6.
https://store.steampowered.com/sub/49358/
>>3793165Too puzzle-heavy and the combat being little more than an afterthought is a little disappointing. Still good games, but not quite what I'm looking for.
>>3793166legends of amberland? unfortunately not offering a great bargain for the sale, just their usual 50% off and the 1 + 2 bundle offers no additional discount.
ok, how about vaporeum?
actually just buy wizardry 7 it's the goat and only costs 84 cents
>>3793200>legends of amberlandAllegedly pretty barebones, but I might give it a try. What exactly do you like about it?
>vaporeumLooks like Grimrock but even simpler due to only having 1 character. Pass.
>actually just buy wizardry 7I guess... Is it as hard as Wizardry 1? Do I have to play 6 first?
What shota game should I buy on this sale?
>>3793212t b h, i never played amberlands it just looks like a passable m&m 4/5 clone that's available on steam, but even $10 is too high, will play it when the dev gets off their high horse and reduce the price below $5
wiz 7 has the option to import characters from wiz 6, but that's really the only tie in. i never played wiz 1 so idk, i think wiz 1-5 are a little different and new designer did 6-7, and i did play wiz 6-7...it will have puzzles, it will have loooong battles, it will have tiny buttons hidden on brick walls that open secret areas so you have to walk through dungeons sideways (or use the detect secrets spell? why didn't i think of that! ugh) it has everything, it is epic, and long af. wiz 6 is also good, but doesn't have the different factions that wiz 7 does, also wiz 7 is more or less "open world" and non-linear (tho u prob get asswhipped if u just go off to some hard area right away) unlike wiz 6 which is all inside some castle and the caves under it and linear. wiz 8 is cool, but it just rehashes everything that was good in wiz 7 but with 3d graphics basically.
oh did u play eye of the behold series? those are pretty good tho i think the first one had too many puzzles, and the third one i got bored (filtered?) and didn't finish, but eye of the beholder 2 hit just right, a little puzzle here and there but mostly hack and slashin shit.
is mary skelter good?
never really played a drpg before
>>3793234NO.
Dear god no.
Legitimately one of the worst games I had the displeasure of getting baited into playing.
>>3793235whats wrong with it?
>>3793229>it just looks like a passable m&m 4/5 clone that's available on steamPretty much the impression I'm getting, yeah...
>i did play wiz 6-7...it will have puzzles, it will have loooong battles, it will have tiny buttons hidden on brick walls that open secret areas so you have to walk through dungeons sidewaysNeat, neat. I might get the whole trilogy, it's dirt cheap anyway so I won't be losing much if for some reason I don't like it. Though I must say, I think I prefer actual straight up dungeon crawling to non-linear open or semi-open worlds.
>oh did u play eye of the behold series?Oh yeah! Only the first one though and I'm pretty sure I didn't finish it. But it was good.
>>3793238Everything.
No, I'm not memeing, I mean it. Not a single aspect of it is good, gameplay and writing are offensively bad even.
>>3793234It's all over the place.
>MC is a super generic harem protagonist but he's inoffensive as fuck>girls are cute, artstyle really helps here>combat is very simple, little strategy involved>class system but classes are very unbalanced, good if you want to steamroll, bad if you want to experiment>story is ok>music is nothing special>dungeon design is horrible, basically dead ends galore with no rewards to waste your timeGrab it only if you want some cheap simple junk food that'll keep you busy and moderately entertained. If you played any Idea Factory games before, you'll know what I mean.
If you enjoy it, the second and third games are an improvement on all fronts.
If you're looking for an amazing gem that'll blow you away, this isn't it. It's probably also not the best entry point for DRPGs, but I'll leave it to people who played more of them to give you recs on where to start with those.
Is Witchspring R any good? I was thinking of getting it as a steamdeck game to play before bed, it looks kind of relaxing and fun, like Atelier.
>>3793060Starcrawlers is a brilliant DRPG, and one of the only non-fantasy ones out there.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/318970/StarCrawlers/
It's definitely worth it at this price point, but if you're a bit of a miser and willing to wait it sometimes goes on sale for much less.
I'm not sure if it meets your definitions of "essential" and "true", but I figured I'd recommend it anyway.
>>3792369If you like job system stuff and Final Fantasy/SaGa there's Crystal Project and False Skies. Crystal Project is the epitome of minimal story, your characters spawn into the world and are told "hey here's the tutorial, go explore new areas and find new classes because that's what adventurers do." There's optional lore that's 100% unnecessary and you need to go out of your way to find, and the very little story there is amounts to one NPC having maybe 3 lines of monologuing each time you find a new area.
>>3793384It is rather easy but extremely charming. I enjoyed it a lot. The protagonist especially is extremely fun to follow.
>>3793434>I'm not sure if it meets your definitions of "essential" and "true"What pretty much everyone means when talking about DRPGs. Whenever Etriam is brought up it usually goes something along the line of "you etrian babies got it easy, go play a real blobber someday".
>>3793434Oh shit, I should get back to that. Bought it in 2020 or so and put about ten hours into it, it was pretty cool. If I remember correctly, the space samurai class was pretty stupidly powerful.
>>3793477All of the classes can be pretty stupidly powerful in their own ways, it's been a while since I played through myself though (probably 2 or so years). IIRC the engineer class is considered the weakest and smugglers fall of a little towards the end.
>>3791658 (OP)Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls
Lords of The Fallen (the newish one)
Resident Evil Revelations
Quester
Dragon Ruins
currently playing through LotF and loving it, got the other stuff more for the future to play. If anything the next Wizardry game I'd be playing would be Gaiden 2.
>>3793510>Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Soulsquite possibly the worst wizardry spinoff
>>3793510>>3793514Hey maybe you can help me?
>>3793060
>>3793437Crystal Project sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, thanks friend
>>3793060Do you own a 3DS or can you emulate? Try Persona Q and Q2. They're like Etrian. I didn't play the second fully but the first is great. You can choose the highest difficulty and it will give you a challenge.
>>3793604If you like that kind of minimalist approach then I highly recommend Legend of Legacy. They have it remastered on Steam, dunno if it's on sale right now but it feels like SaGa Frontier but not quite. It's good if you like strict gameplay and mechanics like that.
>>3792939Yeah i am thinking the first 7 are just going to fly by but 8 onwards might be a slight slog did you end up finishing or just stopped at 10?
whats a game with aura and hype moments
>>3793437if u like old final fantasy, scarmonde is basically ff1 but with the no story and just the fights
>>3793341What would you say is the best entry point for DRPGs?
>>3793671I think it's trying to communicate...
>>3794013I'd name something like Etrian Odyssey 4. Solid game, well put together, not too hard, looks and sounds nice, drawing maps is fun.
On PC/modern systems only, I'd name something like Labyrinth of Refrain. Game looks and sounds nicer, batshit insane plot to keep you invested but combat is way less strategic and there's no manual map drawing. Etrian Odyssey 1 if you want a challenge and don't mind more archaic systems.
There's also the Etrian HD ports but I don't know if those are any good.
But again, I haven't played a lot of them compared to the more hardcore players so there's probably better suggestions out there.
>>3794019>Labyrinth of Refrain>good entry pointMan...
>>3794013Etrians are alright, either 1 or 3 if we're talking PC. 4 that the anon above recommended is the easiest in the series.
I personally would like to recommend a little indie title called Potato Flowers in Full Bloom. It's pretty simplistic, but as an entry point I feel like that's only a boon. And it's very charming.
>>3794013Legend of Grimrock if you don't want some weeb shit
>>3794031Grimrock is a puzzle game.
>>3794024What's wrong with Etrian 2?
>>3794052First of all it's more like an expansion pack to 1, second of all it's broken and not in a good fun way, broken abilities even worse than in 1 and bugs out the ass, somehow not all of which were fixed in the remaster.
are there any sidescroller action rpgs like eiyuden chronicle: rising but not some metriodvania where u spend the whole time backtracking but like do u remember that arcade game cadesh way back in the day? sth like that, mandragora looks liek that but it's 30 friggen bucks and has mixed reviews
>>3794055I'd have bought it by now if it didn't advertise itself as being difficult.
>>37936588 really isn't that bad, it's just bad in comparison to the games that came before it. The junction system had potential but they messed it up,drawing spells is somewhat tedious and then using them feels bad because of junctioning. Same with 10, it's actually a pretty good game but the move towards hallways instead of a worldmap, the loss of the airship, it definitely hurts. 9 even had some pacing issues once you get to disc 3. Before disc 3 you alternate between a town and a dungeon. Once you get to disc 3 all the dialogue is mostly no longer in towns it's all in dungeons. If you're into grinding it probably won't bother you but I found the parts of the end of 9 to be a bit of a slog, it doesn't help that by the time you get to the end of the game especially if you are doing sidequests everything feels so easy so slogging through dungeons where nothing is a threat to you just doesn't feel good. The first FF game I really couldn't finish though was 12, that was as a kid though, it was just too different, the main character wasn't interesting, and it felt like an mmo. I heard the zodiac age makes the game better but I don't know. Personally I stopped caring after x-2. (x-2 actually has an amazing job system called the dress spheres, but the game is easy and it feels at times like it was designed to appeal to female gamers or something, especially that intro.)
>>3793384I asked the same question almost word for word on a /v sale thread and they called me a pedo, I said I just want some relaxing/cutesy rpg or jrpgs and asked if Witchspring R and Nobeta were good or just meme games?
i don't get paid until tomorrow, but I'm likely gonna pick up the ebi-hime yuri bundle. i'm a weak little bitch for her writing.
>>3794183Well, it IS difficult.
>>3793774Bummer.
What are some good FF1-likes with a neat story?
>>3792187I honestly think it's shit. Well, half-baked at least. Both story and gameplay. Rehashes the usual digimon plots and some Japanese folklore tropes. Not many digimons too. It's obvious they didn't have time to do everything they planned.
>>3793671Sorry, I don't understand nigger, can you repeat that in English?
SMT3 Nocturne
Etrian Odyssey 3 HD
Shining Resonance Refrain
Any other games worth adding to my collection? I already have all FFs
>>3794946Chrono Trigger, Live a Live
>>3794946>Shining Resonance RefrainUnless you're okay with bottom of the barrel weeb trash, this is just not worth your time. It's abhorrently dull, the writing is truly rancid and the combat wasn't anything other than a bad tales of game.
aiight i have 25 bucks to blow tell me what to consume i'm thinking a bunch of cheap indy no weeb stuff
I pickup up FF12 and Resonance of Fate.
>>3792369For this sale if you're looking for something ultra-indie I'd recommend Ark's Wonder Dungeon. There's story but it's not overly lengthy, and the combat in it is pretty good thanks to the roguelike part adding variety. I've enjoyed it a lot since JRPG roguelike is a surprisingly rare mix.

>>3796354I finally bit on the two FF7 remasters and have been playing them. I got a 9700xt and have been wanting to give them a try. Look and move amazing, having a lot of fun.
Also picked up FF12 because I loved that on Playstation and having the remaster on PC is the tits.
>>3791658 (OP)The Age of Empire 3 DE dlc I was missing, that's about it
I caved and finally got TWW3 and a couple of the dlc, I'll get the other dlc later
As for RPGs, I'm thinking about Prey for 6 bucks, is it good?
>>3792872It is a very good, fairly innovative game for 1994 standards. The remaster is the game but no longer looks like FF4 in terms of graphics and added some QOL that if you've played the original, you really question why it wasn't in the game to begin with.
>>3792896>I wish they tied the stories together, made an end-game where you all teamed up for a super boss or final dungeon.....
I got Jack's game and after 23 hours of play I know I made the right choice
>>3797454IF you've already played XII I would recommend the Struggle For Freedom mod to make it more interesting
Any less popular SRPG reccs anons? also anyone played the mercenaries saga games? are they as generic and underwhelming as their store page makes them look?
>>3799289Depends on what you mean by less popular.
>fallout tactics>midnight suns>expeditions rome>warhammer mechanicus>gears tactics>regalia of men and monarchs>aliens dark descent
>>3799295played all them apart from fallout tactics and regalia is the type of shit i mean by less popular or games like Together in Battle or Dream Tacitcs just stuff that are "hidden gems" or cult classics like Alvora Tactics done by the Horizon's gate team

Anything similar to Dungeon Siege 2 up for grabs? I love the idea of an action rpg/diablo style game where you can manage a party, but it's such a pain to get working on modern systems. Especially Linux.
>>3799479Dungeon Siege 1 is even more of that, if anything it's a little too much of that.

>>3796807It was just ultra poverty Kings Bounty I had fun with this. Really enjoyed mass wave assaults with my peasant hoards but I got bored once you start getting good spells/units. laughed out loud at the random japanese faction
I bought this, seems like a pretty good turn-based blobber. The artwork can definitely be off-putting, but I've only read good things about its party-building and its dungeon design.

I got jrpgs
>>3800235>procedural generation
>>3800273Apparently there are 24 handmade levels and procedurally generated ones on top of that, not sure if they're optional.
>>3799681Thanks, I know about it, and I have played it a bit. It's just that it also takes time to get working like DS2. I also think DS2 is the tighter game.
did u play any of the games u bought
>>3800277All the procedural ones are optional. The game was already finished when they added them in a later patch.
Pretty enjoyable dungeon crawler if you can deal with the pretty bad character art.
>>3800577Ended up buying EO1, EO3, Siege of Avalon, Crystal Project and Scarmonde, all based on recommendations in this thread.
Played through EO1 and now working through Siege of Avalon, then I'll probably play EO3. Actually enjoyed EO1 so much that I wanted to jump straight into EO3 but if I did that I would probably not get around to playing any of the other games I bought.
Siege of Avalon is good though, as long as you keep in mind it's a video game released in the year 2000.
>>3800244>gimped chrono trigger>shitty persona ports>not even FFVIinteresting choices
>>3801905Crystal project is slop
>>3791658 (OP)I bought Weird West but haven't played it yet
>>3794592>dissidia was almost 20 years agogoddamn it
>>3801922>Crystal project is slopI've never played any of them but I saw a comparison of the intros to ff6 from the SNES version vs crystal project and the crystal project just sounds like absolute shit by comparison. I cannot imagine playing them.
>>3801943>I've never played any of them>I cannot imagine playing them.>them>multiple gamesyou seem to have Crystal Project confused with something else
>>3802033Whoops, I misread that as "pixel remaster". My mistake.
I bought Dwarf Fortress after playing it for free since I was like 15, Tokyo Extreme Racer because I'm a JDMFag, Caves of Qud, because I love Cataclysm DDA, and they look similar, Black Mesa because it was 2 dollars, and Furi for the same reason. I've only played DF and Tokyo Extreme Racer
>>3801922Well, one out of five ain't bad. Maybe two out of five since I haven't touched Scarmonde but it looks to be in a similar vein as Crystal Project.
>>3802380You've gotta stop taking people at face value when they call random things slop
>>3791658 (OP)Anyone got some good jrpg recommendations? Loved persona 5
I've learned that buying non-indies is the dumbest thing you'll ever do. It's just painful to buy a โAAAโ title knowing that the game has been abandoned and is full of issues. Sometimes I feel it's just better to โbuyโ these games in subscription programs. So many games are just abandonware
>>3803361Persona 3 Reload, Dragon Quest XI, if you wanna emulate I can recommend a shit ton.
Octopath Traveler 1 & 2 are good. What other games did you like?
>>3791658 (OP)Nothing
I bought/built an AI rig that happens to game
>>3791658 (OP)Nothing. Everything on my wishlist is either too new to get a decent discount, or it's shit that never goes on sale to begin with.
I got total war Warhammer 3, company of heroes 2 and devil may cry trilogy, should have plenty of hours there
>>3805267>Persona 3 ReloadI should've gotten it when it was 28 bucks, now I need to wait until it's that much again.
