>>3793328 (OP)You can easily beat the game without using a single Triangle Attack.
The centralizing mechanic is the Hero Run.
Activating a Hero Run costs a Bezel, but you get a Bezel back if you break an enemy part or score a kill.
The character who is preforming a Hero Run is invincible while doing it. Since you can freely chose what character takes action on your turn, Run a character with the yellow caution "You're being targeted" indicator next to their name to avoid damage.
Combat flow is basically run a Machine Gun user to soften up enemies and then run a Handgun user to break 2 parts/score 2 kills to refund your Bezels.
Then repeat that process for THE ENTIRE GAME.
extra notes:
Character level is the sum of their level in the three weapon types (machine gun/handgun/grenade) swap weapon types between characters to level up faster.
Firing from the ground during a Hero Run does damage to the closest enemy part. Firing from a jump hits random exposed enemy parts on each shot.
You generally want to charge up as much as possible before firing, but in the very early game Handguns can output more damage per turn by firing as fast and often as possible instead. You'll know when it's time to switch to full charging Handguns too by watching enemy health bars
You can squeeze out a little more charge time by saving your jump until right before the end of your Hero Run
Never stand and shoot. That option only exists as a last ditch in case you run out of Bezels when something is close to dead.
