Anything made within the past 2 decades has terrible soundtracks; generic sound design, melodically unenspired and no theme the soundtrack is built around.
Unironically World of Warcraft - as shit as that game is - is one of the few that still employs proper composers who know what they are doing.
Michael Hoenig's BG1 & BG2 suites are also very good, but it's pretty obvious that he did not work on Throne of Bhaal, but that utter hack inon zur did. And BG3 is a great example of what I meant by generic and uninspired.
The Zelda games have always valued music high, it has one of the most iconic tunes after all.
