Sakura Wars V is set in New York, and is about the reestablishment of the original assault troupe, the Star division. Features spectacular 2nd phase boss battles against humongous enemy mechas where your mechs have to transform and take to the skies to attack special weakpoints or land on other platforms. The precursor to Valkyria Chronicles' battle design. Great music by Kohei Tanaka.

I have an idea for a gun based 3D JRPG, with enemy icons you can shoot to gain an advantage in the subsequent fight and star ocean or maybe wild arms style battles.

Theme would be exploration & colonization of America.
