>>3796658 (OP)1. If you don't want to bother with unlocking classes, get an unlock mod. Alternatively, If you feel like you're getting tired of the game do the same - some locked classes are very fun but locked under bullshit conditions.
2. Burst is king. Classes like Archmage that can dish out a lot of damage in a short timespan are better for first victory.
3. Summoner is a good but boring beginner's crutch. Pop up Wyrms and stand back.
4. Stack up one element damage. There will be resistance reduction equipment later in the game and the percentage increase gets really noticeable after clearing the quest dungeons, especially in the Necromancer's tower.
5. Try to avoid melee classes that don't have disengage options for your first clear. If memory serves, these are - Bulwark, Berserker, Reaver, Mindslayer(the slide option is not enough) and Cursed. Death by 1000 cuts sucks ass, especially when you start clearing orc camps.
6. Like the other anon said, get health. If the choice is damage or health, get health.
7. Never recycle status-cleansing artifact lamps. You'll need them after you reach the 2nd continent where there are a ton of enemies with status efffects.
