Has there ever been a DLC release that has satisfied? I still naively think of modern DLC as yesteryear's Expansion Packs. And I'm always disappointed.
>>3800701 (OP) >Has there ever been a DLC release that has satisfied? Void Shadows for Rogue Trader is the most recent example. Some of the best written and designed content in the game, with a fun (if OP) new class, good new companion, helps solve a problem in the core game where your ship and crew wasn't that fleshed out.

>>3800701 (OP) I think the previous DLC I got separately was Skyrim's Dragonborn expansion on christmas in 2012. It was satisfying, fond memories of spending the christmas with that one. Other good expansions were the Shivering Isles and Artorias of the Abyss.
I haven't really played new games so I can't comment on their DLCs.

Not a big soulsfag but aren't people generally happy with fromsoft DLCs?
I think a lot of DLC is just cut base game content that was made before release. So it's not going to reflect feedback. As I understand it, the teams that actually produces the game, the outsourced studios and such, will have ultimately dispersed in a year's time. Wrangling new people to create DLC after release might as well be making a new game.

How was the FF13 DLC released on PC? Was it all packaged together? I never got to download the FF13-2 DLC over the PSN and was told it was basically the "real ending" in the first place. So that sucks.
>>3801969 Base 13 never had DLC (it was planned and cut), but most of the sequel DLCs are bundled with the PC ports, you'll just miss out on a costume or two. The only DLC to purchase on steam are the soundtracks.
