Fable usually had customization only later on in the forms of extra hairstyles, tattoos and whatnot, so you adjusted from the baseline
Now, Fable 2 and 3 let you choose between generic dude and generic chick, but considering the narration in the trailer keeps talking about a girl specifically I have a feeling they decided to force the issue here

Looks shit just from this one picture. Modern graphics and aesthetics can never come even remotely close to the ones of old games. Someone really should bring Peter Moligneaux out of retirment.

I just don't get why they moved away from the cartoony look. It's a trademark for Fable, even 3 which toned it down still kept it in expressions and body language. This just has faces that at best look like real people trying to act like cartoons which is fucking embarrassing, and at worst the ol' uncanny valley.
