>>3807790 (OP) It can be fun, but the gameplay does feel shallow after awhile. You just accept a quest, go to the dungeon, loot until you're ready to leave, sell everything, and then repeat.

>>3807801 I genuinely believe that Daggerfall would have a breath of fresh air if it’s possible to integrate an AI to have conversations with NPCs like in that one mod for Crusader Kings 3 that act accordingly to your disposition to the classes, or have an AI that generates slight variations in dialogue on existing quests formats or new quests altogether based on what assets are available in the game like in AI Roguelite. It won’t change the issues with gameplay but it’ll feel more immersive probably
>>3807790 (OP) Every time I try playing Daggerfall I only get filtered by two things: bugs (yes even in the Unity port) and boredom. Extremely shallow gameplay and none of the lore/story/immersion of the next games to hold it up.
>>3808144 I agree. Even some oblivion tier dialogue would be better than the list and "I don't know anything about that" "Sorry don't know where that is". I like the freedom for roleplaying in this game but it is really empty at times.
