The foundation of the terminology doesn't matter, retard. Just because terms like "gay" and "faggot" used to mean different things doesn't mean they don't apply to you, a homosexual man, in the current context. The term cowboy was relatively rare compared to other contemporary terms for cattle handlers until it was popularized by a certain sensational town and was transformed into a broad term for men on the edge of the law in the midst of the livestock dependent economy of the American West. Cowboy was then broadly used to refer fictional characters who were only tangentially related (or not at all) to the livestock industry. At the current time "cowboy games/movies/books" have nothing to do with the minutiae of driving cattle
You're obsessed with "illiteracy" which is ironic because you can't seem to process an essential part of literacy, contextualization, possibly because you're autistic. You're focused with the "correct" original meaning of the term. Even if we take this as the basis for the meaning of a word, it is also ridiculous because "cowboy" has it's origins even further back than the distinctly American practice of cattle driving, and has its roots in the dense, highly developed agricultural landscape of England. So I guess by your rules cowboy games should specifically refer to tending cows on small grazing plots in the Georgian countryside.
I bet (you) are one of those autismos that spams "not an RPG" in every thread too
