BG3 is at least on par with Elden Ring, better in some ways considering it's a full RPG with real character gen, companion voiced stories, co-op, multiple storylines etc, worse in some ways as it has a bit of woke that's really buried under Larian horniness/fanservices. Meaning it is the winner in RPG/Eroge category vs. the straight JRPG/ARPG category.
