Promises a ton of planets to explore but they're all empty space with nothing to do
>Why did Lyle do it, bros?

PSIII doesn't take place on any planets at all.
It is pretty empty for a Gen 4 JRPG, though.

It takes place on a giant space station floating in space that you are lied to and are told its a planet.

Are you actually lied to, or are you just made to assume it, I genuinely don't remember.

Kingdom Hearts was basically a better version of Starfield. Multiple highly unique planets with their own mini arch’s. Space ship design.

The problem with Starfield is that it is a less imaginative future than even the current timeline. Fuck magic and like, imaginative routes they could go. It was as bare bones as something in space could creatively be. Like as an exercise think of the most boring space setting and it wouldn’t be far off from what Starfield is.

Hmmmm, good point. I mean, it's recorded in their old texts isn't it? That they escaped from Palma on a world ship, it's just as time went by, generations forgot and yeah, I guess you're right.

I think Wren and Mieu knew, but I'd have to play it again.

The "problem" with Starfield is that it's a straight up worse version of Fallout 4. But what did you expect with Emil as your design director and lead writer.

How dare you attempt to correct me but then give completely non specific criticism that could mean anything and means nothing at all.

Speaking of lies, the pre-release hype of PS3 was pretty huge, even in America (yes im old) and the big deal was "7 PLANETS AND TWO MOONS!!!!" on every single gamer magazine and ToysR'Us display. Even some SEGA games had a little insert cards in the casing advertising PS3.

But no, the entire game has less cities and dungeons than Final Fantasy 1, which came out years earlier. It was a fucking gyp.
>The lesson I learned long ago: If something is huge and popular, the follow-up product is guaranteed to suck ass. See also: Final Fantasy 8, The Dark Knight Rises, prequel trilogy, etc.

The story told you it was different planets, but more importantly, you the IRL you, the player, were told they were different planets on the back of the case and the instruction manual.

>Lyle
was this the first NTR cuck game?

I just looked at the box and the manual, and this isn't true. The box says "Explore the Planet and Beyond" and "Trek through 7 distant lands", so it does lie to you that you are on *a* planet. Then the manual says "explore seven danger-ridden worlds", which might sound like it means seven planets, but when you pair it with the back of the box it's clearly referencing the "7 distant lands" which are all within "the Planet and Beyond".

The game is thirty-four years old, fuck off.

I think Starfield is shit because Todd was too busy with this game.

Todd hasn't directly worked on a game in a very long time. Indiana Jones was made by MachineGames, not Bethesda. You have Emil to thank for Starfield.
