Weird they're here in the first place since neither movie nor book have them. Soldiers in the book wear advanced battle suits but I believe they're more akin to Master Chief's or Crysis' suits with added jetpack than mech. I think the anime adaptation had mechs so maybe this is where the inspiration come from.

Anonymous No.2034220 [Report] >>2034295

Reverse engineering was one of the coolest aspects of the game. If you just steal the leftovers from your enemies and glue them onto your own combots, you ruin the aesthetics. If you take them back to your base and reverse engineer them, you can build the same part with the correct aesthetics.

I'd always go out of my way to reverse engineer everything even if I could use the part as-is.

But they're usually worse in this case. But you'll have them available in the next mission of the campaign. Unless it's the proper Hedoth bits. Meeting their combot for the first time was something else.

The RTS borrows from pretty much all of Starship Troopers as a whole. One of the last troopers you can get uses power armor, in fact. The game overall is okay but it lacks a lot of that passionate 90's charm from the two main VAs so the campaign kind of falls a bit flat. Except the psi-officer he is the only one who gets it.

Literally best unit in the game if you don't just send it somewhere and forget about it. Its only real flaw is lack of the chin machinegun because they didn't manage to get the engine to have more than 2 weapons per unit.

Nigga you fucking what? It can crush all non-epic vehicles, which means nearly anything in the game, and Nod has cloak support power. Add the rage generator into equation and it becomes so broken it's not even funny. And it still can upgrade its laser gun, as well as get either 2 self-repair upgrades or 2 flamers. Or one of each.

Makes perfect sense aside from the position it ended up in. Although being used as a shield wouldn't work if it was at the bottom too. So yeah, the thing on the hydraulic arms would have been best. Otherwise the leg joints would be getting all that strain from digging if it bent its legs to position the dozer.
