>>2043096 that Tiberian Sons greatest hit mix in remaster tells me we're never gonna get another remaster. that shit slapped better than most commercial metal releases.
>>2042600 (OP) >>2047131 The thing is, they had filters for high-level Nazi officials (Hitler, Himmler, Goering, etc.) in the Westwood Online lobby. You'd instantly get kicked from the server. This was back in the late 1990s.
>>2047396 Because it's not possible for there to be Nazis in CnC, they didn't want to break the lore. Einstein travelled back in time with the chronosphere to shake hands with young Hitler and it showed Kane was in Moscow so Tiberian wars began after the cold war
>>2054837 His came from a wealthy family, it's not at all a stretch that he or someone else in his household played the game given C&C's popularity at the time

>>2043452 Supposedly they lost the source code for TS and that's why they won't remaster it. That being said, they could at least remaster RA2 on its own then, unless they lost THAT source code too.
>>2055237 >That being said, they could at least remaster RA2 on its own then, unless they lost THAT source code too. Isn't that the excuse that already gave us?

Those terrain physics are too much for them

>>2055237 TS and RA2 literally use the same engine and same source code, RA2 was made from an earlier TS fork
Good fucking God, why was Westwood unable to design interesting missions until Yuri's Revenge. Tib Sun has some neat aesthetics, but the missions themselves are fucking ass. It's just a 1v1 in a wasteland with either a front entrance to the enemy base or a back entrance. The NOD campaign not having any missions where you are observing GDI vs a different NOD commander is absurd.

I thought firestorm was a really good expansion and had fun unique mission design. I do agree it got better in Yuri revenge
I only played Firestorm once. I remember the levels being all really gimmicky.
>>2061900 Supposedly it's way before he was doing gaming vids. I don't think the left/right dichotomy really applies to Russia in a way that the US is familiar. It's more pro/anti-Putin, but even the anti-putins can be super nationalistic.
>>2061937 I see, and Russia you can give a left/right divide but obviously the same context from the west doesn't translate over, honestly what seemed most odd to me was how during one video he seemed to say that Russia is a fake nation only perpetuated by muscovite's imperial nature or something along those lines, I can't quite remember which video that might've been, maybe the deus ex one?
>>2042600 (OP) Why the fuck did the savages of the 90's think it was a good idea to both select and give orders with the left mouse button? did really no one figure out it was better to give that to right button?
>>2064218 Didn't aoe2 come out in the same year and not have this terrible control scheme?

What did westwood mean by this?

>>2064878 99% sure Chirac wasn't President for most of that. And Algeria got like, 5 shitskins *actually* killed, for well-deserved reasons - although knowing algerians they probably applied jewish holocaust maths on that and are claiming 5 gorillons got baked every second in croissant ovens.

>>2062855 >>2054837 Honestly i always like learning about this nigga's stash, crazy how despite being the guy who got helped get 2000 people killed (and also the U.S government probably in on it too maybe) in the end he too liked the same things we did, like anime and videogames.
Did he play Counter Strike? It would be insanely funny if he did lol
