Because review system is fixed by steam to make positive reviews weighted heavier or some shit. It's some calculation to make publishers more money and keep them from being "bombed" in reviews. Because the EA fuckers was sitting on a pile of gold, with the C&C francise and they simply decided to throw everything in the toilet, producing mobile gatcha garbage and C&C4. So people grew hungry of old-school RTS games. Still wondering why GoG didn't release BFME 1 and 2 yet, for I have seen a growing community around those titles, and they could manage to harvest some money putting those titles on their platform.

That's not community obligation, EA can license a mobile game every 10 years to keep the rights or whatever.
But people who want a new C&C game and from EA either live in a parallel universe or shouldn't reproduce. EA already screwed over the series by liquidating original developers and then chasing trends with C&C 3 and RA 3 trying to jump onto esports train and C&C 4 trying to be MOBA, not even talking about countless other franchises they screwed over.
