Fine. It's the culmination of the last gen of the games. Has alot of things that don't really add anything to the experience, but you can customize almost everything to play with only what you want to play.
The addition of the arabian leagues makes holding a starting 11 for two seasons a herculean task, not even worth the effort most of the time. Makes me miss alot of the tug of wars with teams in your budget radius that used to happened in older games. There is a mod that fixes this, but its still a pain in the ass.
Set pieces in general are bad since FM17, and they never managed to find the solution for them. Most of your games are going to be decided because your two 2mts centerbacks lost a header with a midget that hadn't score a goal in 3 years. Thats just how it is.
Fun game but once you played it enough you start to see the cracks. That's why I made this thread, to find out if someone else is playing something similar and likes it enough to recommend it.

It's as close as it can be to a 1:1 adaptation of the tabletop and that'a why I couldn't get into it. I wish it's an actual sportsgame because I love fantasy sports with superpower like Inazuma Eleven or the old PS1 Supershot Soccer.

Not really desu, just because baseball is an autistic sport and OOTP simulates so much shit that you'd have to learn everything at once. If you don't even know the on-field rules, you're not gonna know how to manipulate some prospect's 40-man service time because his wOBA keeps underperforming his xWOBA but you think he could be good if you replaced the hitting coach with a contact-first guy, etc. Technically you can auto-sim all the games and watch while the AI handles everything, so you could just do that and google any questions you had, but at that point you might as well just watch actual baseball lol.
Honestly, if you want to learn the basics of the sport, emulate MVP Baseball 2005. The franchise mode is fairly light on simulation aspects but it's a good introduction and the game is fun as fuck.

that Football, Tactics and Glory game is hard as fuck. its almost impossible to set up corner plays and whenever my best forward beats a defender roll, they run into my and knock me down causing an injury that lasts over 7 months. the game is pretty shit. that or im retarded and doing something wrong

You're supposed to lose after promoting once. If you keep winning, your team couldn't compete in the higher divisions. The game is balanced around playing 2 or maybe 3 seasons in each division to improve the team.
