Much more recent release: Airships Conquer The Skies basically think something like Highfleet but with very lite grand strategy elements, if anything the major flaw is how easy diplomacy is and how i feel like landships are only good for conquering cities.

Men of War, you get to control units directly and cheese the AI if you want. You have an inventory system too, it's weird.

I once managed to download a version from the "current" devs, only to see the wrong rainbow in the chapter banners. And I had no idea how to fix it because I assume they hid the banners in a game file so the players couldn't improve the performance by deleting a junk file. Yeah, a lot of picks in general seem to have random outcomes. Sometimes you get a good outcome from a "wrong" answer, but that's like 10% when the best one is like 80%
