I'll admit that I went into MO without having played RA2 in like a decade and got shamefully paddled in the first few missions. It's definitely made by and for people that have been playing Red Alert since it came out. Once you play for a bit and get a better feel for the units it comes together a lot faster.

All the shit i gave MO before aside, this is one of the shittiest things they did, devs boast about how MO is nothing like the original but then give you no tutorial to get the feel, wiki is just that, a wiki you can read, skirmish works but doesn't give you full idea about how some things work, and what the devs did instead of addressing the issue by making some tutorial map/videos about new stuff or simply telling to play the skirmish, they just straight up made fun of the new players and second Epsilon mission just mocks RA2 players because Soviet ally sends endless tank waves at the enemy, destined to be destroyed without your help, although i am fairly if said tanks were grouped instead of being sent one at the time in the line like its Age of War, the AI ally would have steamrolled mission by himself, first Soviet and Allied missions just throw you straight into action, only first Epsilon mission is somewhat ok just being a bit harder no base commando mission.
