What's the best mods for it in the year of our lord 2025? I'm looking for mods that make the AI (both campaign and battle) better and unlock all the minor factions, but I don't want anything that fucks with vanilla balance too much.

There was one mod aiming to do this. It was about the Carlist Wars. Idk it’s still being worked on. There’s also a mod called total fall of the Samurai, and it adds European factions to the map. There’s a version that adds China and Russia. It was pretty good.
