ck3 has the a worst AI of all paradox games, you are literally playing the sims medieval with war

CK3 is not even one-third as fun as Sims Medieval was.

The Sims is actually better than tho as a dollhouse. No idea why they went that direction.

Funny. You can literally just have the AI control your armies now. As the player your economy and retinue+building modifiers mean you can just ignore 90% of war in the game now.

CK3 is not a good game.

The fact it is the most favorably received of all nu-Paradox games on /vst/ is a pretty telling indicator of how far you should trust the board's pronouncements on quality.

It's still good with certain overhaul mods. There's no better way to do what it does for the LOTR or ASOIAF universes. When the modmakers for LOTR add the ring it's going to be so, so, so kino. I really can't wait. My dreams of becoming dark and terrible as the dawn shall be realised.

It is especially shit to do LOTR in CK3, because the game mechanics mean that the bigger army always win, and everytime I play that mod. I see Sauron win every time (if I don't play Aragorn myself). It is impossible to recreate the struggle that the conflict was in the books.

CK3 absolutely does not fucking work with LOTR, what the fuck are you on? Even its Imperator Rome incarnation was a better attempt than this literally base CK3 with a LOTR coat of paint - except it's not even really LOTR one at this point when all they seem to be preoccupied with is fancficing in more landmass to be inhabited by more fanfic nations.

I've noticed that nu-paradox titles have progressively worse AI. Victoria 3 ai literally doesn't do anything at all

The most you can do in CK is have your chancellor sit on their province and wait for rng or wait for random rng events at home. If you can't seduce them then you basucally cannot do anything. It's terrible.
