>>2093393I mean I’ve invested enough time in Warno that I’m not really interested in the competitors. And I appreciate that Warno does have single player options.
For anyone else having the issue - I think I found a fix for the desync crashing. After trying literally everything else, disabling full screen optimization and running in Windows 8 compatibility mode seems to let the FPS drop to the high 20s occasionally instead of forcing a crash. FWIW my hardware is like 3x more powerful than what this game really needs to run well, so that shouldn’t be happening anyway. Some people speculated it was an OS issue and Eugene had publically announced that it was an Nvidia issue and that they were working on it but that was months ago and it seems like just as many AMD peeps are having the same issue.
It’s a fantastic game, one of my favorites at this point really, but I had briefly posted a negative Steam review because I was just so frustrated that I couldn’t complete a single game.
Warno had made me curious about Wargame so I picked it up on sale but it seems a bit more overwhelming on the deck building side and clunkier in general. Any advice?
