JP holos are typically just japanese girls playing games with anime models. Some are faking their voice for views or some are major whores, but none of them are as egregious as Kiara or Fuwamoco so they can be watched by any JP fan and be relatable with.

The issue anon is that Cover has this idea that they can just force girls like Kiara and FWMC to be giga popular in Japan since they can speak japanese. While they do have more japanese fans than most, they're still Hololive English so they don't really sell that much more than others.

As someone who works in retail, they just have more stock, and all the empty spots are because there’s no more inventory.
Retail stores can’t display empty slots because it looks bad visually, unless the back is completely out of stock too.

From my experience with Japanese fans of Hololive, they will bring up Fuwamoco and say that they like them when talking about HoloEN. So I wouldn't say, that they dislike them.
Kiara on the other hand, while being able to speak Japanese, is very un-Japanese in her behavior. You get a gaijin pass, because you don't know better if you cab't speak Japanese, but for someone who is fluent in Japanese, they will hold to a higher Japanese standard.
