No woman would talk and act like a typical vtuber of her own accord; if she did, other women would bully and shun her. Rather, she acts according to the whims of how stunted perverted men think a woman should be, like a marionette. She's not a dude with a voice changer, but on a base symbolic level, she really might as well be.

This is why normalfags, in their dumb primitive way, believe the myth. To them, the act is completely antithetical to how women normally choose to present themselves, such that "dude with a voice changer" makes more sense at first blush. That said, they probably don't understand the potential money involved, or whatever psychological complications could drive a woman to seek this kind of male attention.

I think the tech is good enough now that it could theoretically be pulled off, but you'd need to be really fucking careful and have perfect opsec to not be found out. Most vtubers are at least partially doxxed with people quickly finding their older accounts and social media and whatnot.
