i remember seeing somewhere that having a recognizable silhouette is important or something similar
though being simple is fine (and honestly i think designs are too cluttered most of the time) the image doesn't really say anything if that makes sense, it's not really memorable. the art is cute don't get me wrong
maybe when you draw the entire design to completely black it out and see how the silhouette looks
