I understand where you're coming from. If clewr boundaries are established from the outset, then there's far less of a problem. Hell, you could be right in saying that it could filter out the stalker types. If there's no illusion that the relationship goes beyond anything more than business, then there could very well be fewer caught in the delusion that the streamer belongs to them.
But at the same time, being open about who you are is a very dangerous thing as a streamer. You'll still get lunatics who are convinced that the streamers are their and theirs alone, and being open about what your life is really like could only provoke them. In that sense, it's kind of a catch-22.
And besides. To be realistic here, healthy relationships between entertainer and audience are not what this industry was founded on. Playing to the loneliness of your audience by marketing your love as a product is a dirty tactic (honestly, thr more I think about it, it seems more akin to digital prostitution), but the industry got as big as it did because it worked. And at this point, idol culture is so deeply ingrained in it that there's really not a thing we could do to change it if we tried.
