The window of opportunity for discussing it properly has long since passed. It will continue to exist for as long as she exists in the vtuber space, regardless of whatever new name she chooses to wear if she leaves the company. She won't ever leave Nijisanji EN. She has no reason to. But if it ever happened, the question would continue to hang over her head.

Even if she left the industry, she will be remembered for it. Her only choice now is to pretend like nothing happened. Anything else and it will be seen as some form of play against Doki, a move that will only invite more vitriol to befall her friends and her employers. I don't care if people paint her as selfless. Why does Scarle, the branch's bigger earner, cite Doki as an inspiration but her former genmates can't even give an ounce of respect for public appearances?

NijiEN is full of stagnant shitters with no ambition. They just want to play games with their friends and call it a career. They accomplish nothing because they aspire to nothing, and that's why they're perfect corporate cash cows. They will never apologize because they see nothing wrong with what they've done. So they can only do one thing: pretend nothing happened.

If they'd just pretended nothing happened from the start, they'd be fine.
Personally I would have liked an apology, but we're way past that now. In actuality, completely ignoring the situation and not apologising is typically the best solution. Ignoring the situation AFTER doing the black stream was a terrible look, but with how long they've ignored it now, it's wrapped around to being the best move.
