they found a cv of someone with a SIMILAR first name (similar because while it was the same name, it wasn't spelled the same) and likely similar age, and decided that this must be gura's irl name and city of residence.

again, and i'll remind you, this was all built upon a name glanced in a single frame of an old youtube video, which might not even been her name, may have been her mom's name, and then they took that name, found a CV of someone trying to apply to be a voice actress with a similar first name only spelled differently who was within 2 years of gura's presumed age, and decided that was gura because of the similar age and mispelled first name..

And thats how they doxxed 2 wrong people. (and we know they were wrong because of family circumstances which did not match gura's stories about her family in any way whatsoever, for example, the one girl most commonly called gura, the first girl falsely doxxed, had a dead mom irl... so... yeah, we know that's wrong. the second girl doxxxed had a dead father. another swing and miss. and that's where the trail went cold.

that's also around the time i cut ties with the dox community, because i saw what those schitzos did to those wrongfully doxxed girl's families. they weren't out there to figure out who gura was. they were out there to harm and harass her. yeah, i don't have a good impression of the dox community. and i'm glad they haven't figured out who gura really is.

Most of the ones I've seen so far are very static, rather, I found them impressive a couple weeks back (I'm pretty much a tourist, I only watch a very small handful of them and don't care about popularity in general), but now that saba's out, I looked more and more into it and it's pretty fucking insane isn't it?

At least to me (and I might be wrong here), it seems like her model is like a technological (or I guess you could also call it parasocial) leap forward, this is like ps1 vs ps2 era change to me
