multistream to youtube, there are multistreaming services now and it isnt hard to multistream onto there. As for tags, use relevant tags and look at what other vtubers you like are doing and copying them, try to avoid joke tags because good tags actually do a lot to help visibility on twitch which is why a lot of big streamers use the vtuber tag despite not being vtubers due to the amount of visibility it gets them. For thumbnails just look at hololive and copy what they do, you should try to aim for something eyecatching but it differs from people to people. Thumbnails are a pain in the butt to do right and requires a lot of testing to find what works for you.

I suggest a darker shade of red, or atleast replace the orange accents with the black and gold seen on the tengu masks.

The skulls used on it are Japanese ink-brush style skulls. Patterns like that are common in Kyoto-style clothing, e.g. embroidered hoodies and modern aloha shirts. That being said, the shirt is currently not in use. I usually use the rashguard or plate carrier toggles instead.
Flora and skulls is already too busy of a design choice. It takes away the attention from your face, which is supposed to be the main focus but we'll get to that point later. You'd best keep the upper body minimal with a mono colored torn gi like Ryuu or a sarashi wrap around the chest/stomach. When I think of oni my mind doesn't go to skull flower shirts, but you said it's a toggle so it's whatever.

I'm saying that your face is extremely disproportional and it needs to get adjusted. The length of the nose bridge is too elongated and the mouth is extremely small and too far down to the chin.

The Vroid model can only do so much. The altered textures do not mesh well with your custom models made in Blender. Your design looks as though you're attempting to do something outside of the norm of the program. Please either shape up your texturing skills or commission a 3D modeler to express your vision accurately.

It's too much bro. The body tattoos are overcomplicated for the look you're going for. It clashes with the gradient to the point where it just looks like a long sleeved shirt. The trinkets and charms are too small of a detail for audience to matter other than the fact that it's breaking the form of the plate carrier.

I don't really have "tactical" elements in my design outside of the aforementioned body armor, which was redesigned for a more occult/Japanese look on the advice of the thread.
It's a removable toggle, and it's consistent with my branding, since a big chunk of my content is tactical shooters and firearms.
It may not be your personal cup of tea, but it's a good fit for /tac/.
There must be better ways to implement a /tact/ style and not have it totally ruin the traditional Japanese folklore aspect you're going for. Slapping a skintight top and a vest whilst keeping the zubon and geta seems really dissonant for a tactical vtuber. Clearly there's been a lot of thought put into the implementation of each element. But the fact of the matter is that the inclusion of all of them don't harmonize in a cohesive way. There are too many design choices that sabotage what you're trying to accomplish. My suggestion would be to start with the base oni content and really analyze what elements should be kept and what elements should be tossed, for the sake of clarity.

im really happy!! i played undertale for the first time on stream and i really enjoyed it :) I didnt get tired of playing at all and had decent viewership and chat interaction.
i reached 7 viewers!! unfortunately my stream for today didnt count towards the total 30 day affiliate goals because its the first of the month... but hey! ill definitely get it this month if things keep going good!!

im only 2 followers away from affiliate which means i unlock channel points soon! I really want them because i want to set up object throw, headpats, and boop redeems.

Large horimono are just like that. It's a niche esthetic, and 90% of the time only the forearms are visible.
The charms are clearly visible during stream, as I'm zoomed in to waist-height.
The omamori, the sutra charm, and the seals are recognizable to people who know what they are.

plate carriers are the foundational element of tactical training and a point of uniformity in best practices derived from the US military. It's a combination of otherwise standard gear that is shaped by your specific role.
The standard-pattern magazines and mil-spec plate carrier are colored by the lore: each magazine is set up to deal with a dedicated form of evil: sutra-escribed rounds for mara, shinto-sanctified rounds for youkai, and AP black-tip for feds. Level 4 ceramic plates prevent damage from the mundane, charms guard against the occult.
That being said, the plate carrier only appears if the chat redeems the toggle or I'm playing a tactical shooter or otherwise engaging with the theme.

The point of the character is the pursuit martial prowess through the best available means. Kuromaru's origin is in the traditional and arcane, but his character arc is in learning modern tools and training methods to be better at the art of war, together with the audience.
The elements are supposed to clash to an extent. I am by design a character who was been punching trees a day ago and has discovered creatine and modern firearms.

i usually just follow the rule of 3rds with either screenshots from my model program/posed 3d model in the first or last 3rd and the logo on the opposite 3rd with some stuff that relates to the game I'm playing, and if it's a stream that gets numbered i add that as well in a little box/ribbon. if you don't have a 3d model you can always use your live2d/png in a similar way or draw for yourself/get comms. hope this helps a bit!

Remember when top streamers talk about branding? A vtuber's branding is their personality. People arent really there to watch you play video games, they're watching to listen to you and how you react to said video games. The key is to find what part of you that appeals to people and to hard focus on that. You are running a show and you need to be entertaining and to talk to your viewers and to make them happy. Basically go to aliexpress or amazon and grab the longest ethernet cable you can find and connect it. Otherwise try to have a measuring tape and try to figure out the distance between the router to your PC. Also yes ethernet cables is essential for streaming because it makes your connection really stable with no drops. Any modern ethernet cable should be cat5 or cat6 which is more than good enough.

- I don't edit vods as much as I should
- I don't put enough work into the podcast

These are easy fixes, but they require a time investment that would take away from IRL stuff that's higher priority. I'm not really fussed about "optimal growth". I enjoy the company of my regulars and peers, and I get to have my little soap box.
