If we're doing Ampuh (that's an MTV reference for you whippersnappers) using viewcounts, 9 titles from the top 10 are from hololive, with Jarak from Beaconcream and Frederett serves as an outlier in the 3rd position. You can listen to it here:

I think that's just the reality of us being dominated by Holo in the orisongs scene. Not even our local corpo or Niji can do anything about it. What we need for local orisongs are that viral moment that makes them introduced well beyond their respective walls, and at this point, I don't see it happening with any of the song.
(well maybe it did happen a bit with Rimu Semrawut, but that's still in the order of hundred thousands and not even million. Still, better than most of NijiID songs)

I don't think so. By the time she joined (not debuted), Livium has amassed a total of 80k subscribers on all of their talents. By all metrics, it's decent for local corpo, and it's more amazing that they did all of that in just one year.

Global economy is doing bad and poorer countries like ours gets hit harder than developed countries. Add the govt stupidity who insists on pushing useless programs like MBG and creating Danantara which is not received well by the market causing people to hold their money, when they should focus on stimulating the economy.
All of that causing tertiary hobbies like vtubing to fall apart, consumers are reducing their spending and big corpo reducing their investments. Merch/ticket buying drop, sponsorships stopped pandering to niche market like streamer watchers.
What about sol4.ce? Well I'm pretty sure they also gets hit hard, even if they still can make more money from merch/events, that shows how amazing they're. Imagine if they're still popular when the economy recovers.

Oh and some economists have warned that the drop in economy so far is almost purely from internal factor, our economic foundation is just that fragile. The external factor like Trump tarrifs which started next week havent hit this country yet. So don't get your hopes up that ID vtubing will recover soon.
