You're smart for that. There's a schizo incel in there that purposefully gives bad advice to male vtubers. If you ask me, if any male vtuber takes that advice then they're too dumb to grow an audience of women anyway so there's no loss for me. However it still sucks when someone has a legitimately good and rare question and they ask it there instead of in threads where people actually like and watch male vtubers. There's lots of schizos and drama in there overall though.

Every Sunday and Monday I usually check all the boys' schedules in Niji and Stars but this past week I didn't even realize I didn't check. Most of them are in Japan so they probably didn't have anything out anyway, but I don't even feel any regret for not checking. I think that's yet another sign that FSP is the perfect corpo for me because I've been so much more invested in them than anyone else. I'll still watch events and their collabs (really looking forward to this week's Armis collab especially), but once gen 3 drops I'll be prioritizing this corpo above everyone. I hope when gen 3 debuts the FSP boys will focus even more on events and collabs within the company too.

I truly feel like my oshis only put up with me because I can pay them. I might as well not be a person, but my pfp a walking dollar bill. In a way, it’s good that they’re not overly familiar/parasocial, but it hurts that by actively supporting them I seem to be treated worse. Hard to quantify, but money always changes relationships. It’s like… maybe they feel obligated to treat me in a very specific way. They’re not as casually kind or off-handedly jokey or bantery. They won’t feel free to insult me for a gag. There’s a freedom and natural attitude to how they interact with chat as a generalised whole, and by paying up, I’ve cut myself off from that kind of personality that I loved and wanted to directly support in the first place. Somebody’s gotta keep the boys fed but I no longer feel like a “normal” viewer.
