Fauna leaving. She was the canary in the coal mine for me with the way she left. Some of the other streamers that left were inconsistent and often seemed to treat streaming in general as a chore but Fauna has always been pretty reliable and seems to genuinely enjoy streaming. Cover fumbling her says a lot about the direction Hololive is headed in now, and it's not something I wanna be around for.

I tried finding some indies and small corpo vtubers for my dead hours when my Holos weren't streaming and found a few I still watch and like, but I had to go through SO FUCKING MANY shitters that it's not something I'd recommend to anyone else. Indies are a different kind of bad.

I never was into anyone of THAT much to begin with and I hate idolshit culture.
From en gen 1 I only ever really watched Kiara and she showed her true colours too much for me to still sub+watch her. Gen 2 the 2 ones I cared about graduated and everyone after was the most boring and annoying person on top of all the terrible way too busy designs hololive always did.
Once nijien released more waves I realized that I vastly prefer watching a copro where the all people can actually interact with each other and idolshitters get filtered out.
It's not lockdowns anymore so why would I care about holo besides some porn? Which is what most people see them as anyways.

I got bored. It was always the same games they played. Watched hololive when they would almost do nothing but Minecraft. There's only so much Minecraft and dark souls/elden ring I can take before I just stop tuning in. Ended up taking the indiepill. Many have more variety at least in the games they play.

I watch streams that I think will be interesting and they haven't been doing interesting things recently, for the most part. I haven't watched much HoloJP since the GTA collab, but I've watched quite a bit of HoloEN. My interests constantly waver and right now I've been hooked on Deltarune, but no one in Hololive is playing it. I have a bunch of Nightreign streams bookmarked, I'll watch them when my interest in this is renewed.
