Around the first year or so, she made a lot of dumb decisions like appealing not only to /here/fags that love drama but especially fags on Kiwifarms. It definitely resulted in long term growth, but on the other hand it resulted in her having easily one of the dumber fanbases around.

For me it was more about shit like Nousagi, though she did also shout out Josh Moon from KF early on too. CWC has been mainstream long before Pippa got to covering him.
It also doesn't help that Pippa is a pretty poor judge of character. She gets close to one guy, I think his name was Caramel, and then he dragged her into a bunch of drama to where even her friends were publicly telling her to cut ties.
