YouTube algorithm is like investors. It wants infinite grow. The moment you stagnante in viewership for too long is your dead sentence and it completely drops you.
Unironically Suisei is half right. If you create less content the stagnation process is less visible for the algorithm.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about but you clearly have never checked on Suisei or Marine (or even Mori in her heyday). Compared to them, nobody else is "doing well". You say Koyori's music is doing well but her most popular stuff tops out at around 3-4M views. And those are some of the first songs she ever released. Marine has 3 times that on just her random most recent song from a couple months ago and her most popular songs are significant bigger than that. Suisei has a lot more songs than most people but her low-performance songs are peak-performance for many other popular Holos. The reason someone like Watame (a streaming monster) can get burned out with her lack of music success is she puts so much of herself in her music and ultimately gets not much better views than average. Miko's big songs are just beginning to pass 4M views but not yet passing 5M.
