So what do you think of Anycolor's strategy of deliberately dragging out their departures by 8-9 months?

I hope Aster joins VShojo. Not because I want him to find success, but because I want to see VShojo turn to further shit by hiring even more males.

It's an excellent punishment. If Twisty were fired on the spot she'd have ~8 months of income.

It worked. A major factor in how Selen's blew up was how sudden and bombastic the whole thing was. If they waited another 8 months people would've forgotten about her when she silently left them like they did with Zaion. It might've gotten loud, but not nearly as bad as it did.

Pretty sure that was their plan, she was already in long suspension but Selen speed up things by involving her lawyer in order to graduate so Anycolor pulled the trigger early in panic

That's retarded, by the time the selen shock dropped shit was already reaching a fever pitch in the fanbase. If they drug it out much longer the impact would be much the same, except without the multiple self owns
Anonymous No.102314134 [Report]
Selen loudbird is boring. Twisty is cute and funny.
Anonymous No.102314202 [Report]
it seems to have worked. both were suspended for so long that most people already moved on and forgot about them. I'm curious whether they were just sitting on the Twisty racist stuff the whole time, or if that was what they were waiting for

i mean twisty basically outed herself by not shutting up during that time, as for aster i mean its quite at the very least unlike the prior few.

this, newfags don't remember the timeline
almost everyone knew selen was gonna get fired for the blatant "copyright rebellion" she did, but were sympathetic. basically a "at least she's finally escaped that shithole" sentiment.
it was only because the cartoon villain corp decided to stealth suspend her for so long while not saying shit that it even became this huge controversy in the first place
and then of course the final result was a giga nuke, but the point is that "ghosting a problem" has always created more controversy and invited more eyes to look at the situation, not less

laying low and waiting for people to forget only works when the issue isn't actively scratching people's eyes

>If they drug it out much longer the impact would be much the same,
I think what anon is saying that that if didn't cut her loose immediately (and try to score several pointless, petty dunks) and instead dragged out the process for much longer, then the impact of it and the theatrics that followed would've been lessened because onlookers would've gotten bored and moved
Like, a sexpest with a mountain of evidence against AND his one of his victims who blew the whistle got fired within the same 2 week span, and basically nobody gave a shit cuz it took 8-9 months for Niji to actually do anything

>and instead dragged out the process for much longer, then the impact of it and the theatrics that followed would've been lessened because onlookers would've gotten bored and moved
Yeah, but only in the sense that shooting yourself in the foot is less bad than shooting yourself in the face. Shit was going to be bad for them either way considering Selen was one of Niji's most ardent promoters and was pretty much the only one who had any sort of significant presence outside the fujo market, but the majority of the impact came entirely from their three page termination statement and the subsequent black stream. The reason why this case is less destructive has less to do with the time it took and more to do with neither Twisty or Aster being particularly well known outside of this.

While Selen was stealth suspended, her fans were always asking for her status, Twisty didn't have that. Popularity is also a big factor in the controversy blowing up.

Yeah anond fail to understand that, Selena at the time was their biggest female streamer (finana was big too, if you can believe that) while appealing to a completely different public very cut off the rest of nijien.
Meanwhile Aster was a consistent 2view streamer, twisty was barely around and afaik even the sisters didn't like for how she acted up with their nijimales
>>102314415
Also it was very clear that management skinwalked her on twitter while cutting her off all of the accounts. When she went to her RM to talk about being at an hospitals people got really mad

Twisty's fans weren't asking because they knew she was still alive and active on PL, and they knew she was suspended because they're not braindead. Selen literally vanished and it was genuinely unclear if she was still among the living.

>force them on a vacation where they dont get paid
>arent allowed to work anywhere else because of contract
>graduation/termination tax
Its slavery. Also imagine how full this image would be if they did instant terminations. There are currently 11 livers in JP and 3 in EN who are on basically a permanent hiatus (suspended or just fucked off)
A reminder on who the next one to get terminated from EN is, its Petra with her last stream being a year ago

Pretty sure forcing employees to not do their job for a long period of time while not allowing them to work elsewhere is a very illegal thing, but sisters don't seem to mind

Thats what I said. Slavery
There is no other word to call what they are doing
Anonymous No.102315037 [Report]
Seems to have worked. Not enough people cared about Aster or Twisty in the first place. Also her having leaked tape of calling her fans sandnigggers was a stroke of luck, making her throughly unsympathetic.
Anonymous No.102315045 [Report]
If you ever work with Japs, they bury their head and do the most passive aggressive ghosting possible. Strategy basically worked this time since Aster viewership was so long nobody gave a shit he was gone. And Twisty is so menhera, they just needed to wait for her to self implode.

Niji just had to ignore things for months to wait for Aster's contract to run out and quietly drop him. They just had to wait for any excuse to terminate Twisty and that leaked call just fell into their laps.

In the end, nothing really changes and their livers get back to business as normal. Wonder if they are back to their graduation queue now given its been like 1 graduation every month since April.

They can work elsewhere just nor as vtubers. Even that most likely would not hold up in court.

My own rrat is Twisty released her own vid just to speed up her termination
Anonymous No.102315090 [Report]
>>102315064
Why would you release something that awful
Anonymous No.102315165 [Report]
>>102315064
Probably. She was on a 2 year contract. Would have to wait an entire year to graduate and its very clear nijisanji would not do anything about the sexpest
Anonymous No.102315179 [Report]
>>102315064
The rrat is retarded since she could've just released her statement on Aster and the hush money settlement instead for better results. You know. The thing she ended up releasing anyway.
If you can explain what possible advantage Twisty gains from releasing her own yab + Aster & Niji coverup allegations over only releasing the Aster & Niji coverup allegations, your rrat has legs. You can't; the latter is more straightforward, easier to think of, easier to execute, more effective, less time consuming, less risky, etc. It's strictly better, and obviously so.
So basically your rrat is that Twisty is pants on head stupid and did it because "lol so random XD!!" probably because you're pants on head stupid and think that's pretty smart.

That'd really fucking dumb cuz being known as a racist will pretty fucked up her chance to garner pity viewership like a bunch of other NijiEN washouts

My rrat is the only reason Twisty didn't instantly speed up her own termination by flaunting the rules without consequence by just streaming on her PL is because she had friends whispering in her ear to hold out, trust in the system, and keep working for NijiEN.
Either one of those friends leaked it the instant Twisty decided "fuck it, I'm done with this shit", or an opportunistic groomer leaked it with the intent to frame them the moment they heard the two had a falling out and aren't talking with each other.

to be fair twisty was literally the least popular runt in all of niji, below even aster and aia (imagine achieving such a "fear", KWAB)
on top of telling concernfags to fuck off repeatedly on her alt

so while Selen was the most popular, it's not like twisty was just the average niji either, she did everything in her power to have no one give a rats ass about her "plight"
Anonymous No.102315725 [Report]

Much more effective than what they did last time. I'll give them that. Still horribly unethical, but better at avoiding a backlash.

It doesn't seem that dumb when you recall her MO when she was suspended - gather sympathy and then immediately turn around and tell concernfags to fuck off, DEFENDING the black company, and then rinse and repeat.
